S-RM among the top 100 UK companies recognised for employee sentiment and satisfaction

7 December 2022 – LONDON – Leading global intelligence and cyber security consultancy S-RM has been recognised in Newsweek’s first annual rankings for the UK’s Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® list, which was released this week. The 2022 UK’s Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® are the result of a collaboration with the Best Practice Institute (BPI), a leadership development and benchmark research company.

The results were determined after surveying more than 1.4 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 50 to more than 10,000. The list recognizes companies that put respect, caring, and appreciation for their employees at the centre of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them.

Heyrick Bond Gunning, CEO, S-RM said:

We’ve worked hard to make S-RM a welcoming, inclusive, and exciting place to work, so it’s fantastic to see this effort rewarded. This isn’t the work of any one individual, but the recognition of all the cumulative passion and dedication put in by the whole team every day.”

A lot of companies talk about investing in their people, but as always this talk needs to be backed up with concrete initiatives if it is going to make a meaningful difference. We’ve invested heavily in our leading maternity and paternity programmes, made time for our team to do voluntary work that they are passionate about, and committed to the development and career growth of every colleague with the launch of our S-RM Academy. It’s very heartening to see how these and every other employee initiative have paid off and made S-RM such a supportive and exciting place to work.”

How positive workers feel about their future at the company, career achievement, how much employer values align with employee values, respect at all levels, and the level of collaboration at the firm were the five critical areas measured to gauge employee sentiment. In addition, areas such as inclusion, diversity, equity and belonging, and company response and adaptability to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as return-to-office rules, were identified and analysed in relation to the five critical areas measured.

Nancy Cooper, Global Editor in Chief, Newsweek said:

As a result of 'The Great Resignation', more companies recognise the importance of focusing on employee satisfaction to not only attract but retain top talent.”

The businesses on this year’s list clearly demonstrated that commitment.”

Louis Carter, Founder and CEO, BPI and Most Loved Workplace said:

The companies on this list represent the best at placing love at the centre of their employee's experience."

The number of applications this year and analysis of survey data reinforces our original findings that love is the strongest predictor of the strength of a company's culture, employee engagement, and satisfaction."
